Wasior, (Antara)-Wondama Bay’s regent and this deputy, West Papua, kept on achieving their development goal in that area.

In their second year leadership, they proposed three priority programs. The programs became the answer of community’s basic needs such food and housing.

When visiting duairl subdistrict recently, the regent Bernandus A.Imburi said, the programs including electricity, telecommunication and transportation.

He targeted, by 2019, some villages such Warayaru and Yopanggar in North Wasior will get electic service as well as in southern part from raisei to sendrawoy.

In terms of mobile phone connection avilability, Imburi hoped in 2018 all subdistricts will be covered. There will be some new BTS in some districts and villages.

“People in Yopanggar could phone to Manokwari, parents could have a talk with their children in manokwari,” Imburi said.

In transportation, for the connectivity, the local govermenth will build jetties and land road as well as new airport for big planes.

The regent expected, the accesability of people among villages, subdisticts event regencies will be easier.

“So we ran first three programs,” he said.

The regent asked for support from the whole people. Communities are expected to be supportive by preparing land.

“The government and community should make cooperation. For example, government couldn’t construct BTS if had no land,”he said.(***)
